Craftin Desert Divas Christmas Card

Hey y’all! I just got a new (to me) brand of stamps called Craftin Desert Divas and I love their designs! Especially these cute trolls!

Keep reading for the tutorial!

These stamps come with an SVG file that you can buy rather than the dies (really ┬ácost effective) and since I don’t have the Scan and Cut I decided to try it out.

So I placed my Neenah white card stock on my low tack silhouette mat and loaded it up in my machine.

These files are really nice because all you do is open them up in Silhouette, trace, and start the cutting.

Then, after it’s all cut out, I placed the cutouts and the excess paper in my MISTI to stamp on the images.

I placed the stamps over the cutouts and closed the lid.

Then inked them up.

And colored them using my Copics

Then for the background, I used watercolor paper and Ken Oliver Color Bursts. Super easy to use- all you do is wet the card stock and sprinkle over top. And! If you accidentally drop it like I did on the blue you can get a cool drip! (and a stylish stain on your carpet!)

Then, I embossed the sentiment with Nuvo black embossing powder and just jazzed up with some sequins, Tonic Nuvo Drops, and jewels and there ya go! I also colored Wink of Stella on the hair and some of the presents so it shimmers. I had this cute troll on hand as inspiration!
