Hey y’all! I’m back with another course I took over at the Altenew Academy. This class covered sentiments- which are my absolute favorite to add! I just received the new washi tape from Altenew and have seen so many cute inspirational cards that the design team have created so I wanted to try!
I absolutely love these watercolor floral images and the stencils they just came out with. I used Ranger Texture Paste and spread it over the stencil to add a little extra spice to the card.
I used Simon Says Stamp glitter card stock for the die cut word. This card stock works like a dream. Cuts so smooth and perfect.
Leave me a message and let me know what you think!
Ok so here I am with another layout! I’m not the best at these but I sure am having fun learning! This past Christmas season, my husband and I took a vacation to NYC and went to look at the Christmas lights at Dyker Heights. That’s where these photos came from! The technique I used was from her class creating a background using embossing. So much fun!
Hey y’all! This is my first time doing a scrapbook so be kind! 🙂 I am taking the class with Altenew Academy called Stamps Meet Scrapbook and this page is based off the first class where she teaches how to create patterned paper. I completely loved the course! I also had a few of those flowers left over from my final challenge project (the garland) that I was able to use on this project!
So much fun!
Hey y’all! There’s a new mood board up on Craftin’ Desert Divas Facebook and I’ve joined in!
This cute little bunny is perfect for an Easter card. I also used a new technique to give the bunny some texture. I learned this at the Daily Marker Challenge Road Trip with Kathy. All you do is color the bunny first and then get a scrap piece of bath towel and drizzle the Copic colorless blender over the piece and hold and press down on what you’ve colored. So simple for great results!
She turned out great!

Hey y’all! I created this cute picture to place on my mantel to match the garland I made yesterday for my mantel. Can’t wait for spring!!!
I used the same colors I used yesterday and the Altenew Flower Builder Rose set!
Hey y’all! Wanted to share my final project for the Altenew Educator Program! The challenge was to create a home decor piece and I absolutely love my mantel so I decided to create a spring garland!
First, I cut out each flower using the Layered Rose Die set and Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.
Then I used an ink blending tool and used Altenew Inks in Green Meadows, Sweet Dreams, Tea Party, and Shades of Purple Ink sets.
Then I used my sewing machine and sewed them on up! I absolutely love the way they came out!
Leave me a comment to let me know what you think! I really enjoyed this challenge- it certainly made me think outside the box!
Hey y’all! I have created this card for the Craftin Desert Divas Monthly Mood Board challenge!
